MIAMI — Jorge A. Mestre was honored at the Hispanic National Bar Foundation’s 2025 Annual Awards Dinner at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, July 17, for his service as president from 2018 to 2023. Since joining the board in 2011, Jorge has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the HNBF’s mission to help Hispanics achieve their potential through access to higher education. He continues to serve on the board as a director.

This year, the HNBF also recognized the outstanding achievements of Justice Veronica Rivas-Molloy of the Court of Appeals for the First District of Texas; Ruben Cruz, Founder and Principal of Cruz & Associates; Jessica Ortiz, Executive Director/Associate General Counsel within the General Counsel Office of EY LLP; and Carlos Pelayo, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for Mr. Cooper Group Inc.

The awards dinner takes place each year during The Future Latino Leaders Summer Law Camp, a program designed to inspire students to pursue careers in law.

Jorge A. Mestre engages exclusively in commercial litigation practice and is Board Certified in International Litigation and Arbitration by The Florida Bar. He has litigated domestic and international arbitration matters in both English and Spanish.
