MIAMI — Rivero Mestre law clerk Srimayi Chaturvedula was awarded the Meenu Sasser Family Scholarship at the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of South Florida’s (APABA) Board Installation Gala in Miami on May 9, 2025. Amanda L. Fernandez, the firm’s Managing Partner, also attended the event.
The Meenu Sasser Family Scholarship, established in memory of the late Judge Meenu Sasser, who was Palm Beach County’s first Asian American judge, supports exceptional law students who demonstrate a passion for justice and a strong commitment to family and community.
APABA is a non-profit organization supporting Asian Pacific Islander American attorneys and law students through mentorship, community programs, and career support across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
Srimayi is a second-year student at the University of Miami School of Law, where she serves as President of the Asian Pacific-American Law Student Association and participates in the Startup Clinic and International Moot Court Program.
