Three Partners Receive Top Rankings

MIAMI — Rivero Mestre announced today that the firm has been recognized by Chambers & Partners in the 2022 edition of Chambers USA as a Band-1 firm in the category Litigation: General Commercial: The Elite in Florida. Chambers also recognized partners Andrés Rivero, Jorge A. Mestre, and Amanda McGovern for General Commercial Litigation.

Amanda is recognized as a top-tier, Band-1 litigator. She is “a superstar who handles really big litigation.”

Andrés has been recognized by Chambers since 2014. He too is ranked a Band-1 litigator. One commentator states, “he’s a brilliant lawyer.”

Jorge has also been recognized by Chambers for the past eight years. According to a knowledgeable source, “a smart lawyer who will do whatever it takes to win.” Another says “an excellent litigator who also provides great advice on corporate, commercial and securities matters.”

According to a Chambers USA’s referee interview regarding the firm, “they do an excellent job on cross-border issues.” Another referee says “the firm’s lawyers are responsive and helpful, but most importantly a pleasure to work with.” One more says “a team of exceptional lawyers with significant depth when dealing with complex commercial matters.”

Chambers USA annually ranks the work of leading U.S.-based law firms and their attorneys in different practice areas. Selection to these rankings is based on a thorough “assessment of a firm’s work and opinions from external market sources, with an emphasis on client feedback” that demonstrates “sustained excellence.”
