MIAMI—Andrés Rivero and Jorge A. Mestre were named 2023 Florida Legal Awards Distinguished Leaders by the Daily Business Review.

They were recognized for their results in some of the most high-profile cases in the U.S. Notably, the firm prevailed in Kleiman v. Wright on behalf of Craig Wright, the self-proclaimed inventor of Bitcoin, in an intensely litigated, multibillion-dollar case, and for their recent appellate win in a Helms-Burton lawsuit against defendants Trivago GMBH, B.V., Expedia Inc., and other travel companies.

The DBR’s Florida Legal Awards recognize distinguished members of the Florida legal community. Andrés and Jorge will be honored on May 17, 2023, at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami.
