MIAMI — Andres Rivero moderated the New York City Bar’s panel entitled “Combating Corruption in Mexico: What’s Happening with Mexico’s National Anti-Corruption System?” on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST. 

The panel included experts from Mexico and the United States who discussed what effects the National Anti-Corruption System has had on Mexico’s business culture; what the administration of Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has been doing to fight against public sector corruption; and what the Biden Administration’s approach to the Foreign Corruption Practices Act means for international businesses operating in Mexico and Mexican companies with ties to the United States and its capital markets.
