MIAMI – Jorge A. Mestre has been appointed to the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law 2012 Fall Planning Committee (Program Review Group).

Founded in 1933, the ABA’s Section of International Law is a leader in promoting the rule of law and educating international law practitioners.

In addition to this appointment, Mestre serves on the ABA’s Steering Group to the International Energy & Natural Resources Committee, the Steering Group to the International Arbitration Committee, and as Vice-chair of the Latin America and Caribbean Committee. He also serves on the Coalition of Racial and Ethnic Justice.

His practice is focused exclusively on commercial litigation, including international arbitration and litigation.  He has litigated domestic and international arbitration matters in both English and Spanish.
