MIAMI — Jorge A. Mestre will speak on a virtual panel titled “Legal Implications in Global Business” at Georgetown University’s inaugural Global Business Executive Leadership Program on August 15. He will share insights about his representation of a Chevron attorney in a case that was part of the $100 billion, 18-year litigation over Chevron’s alleged environmental damage in the Amazon in Ecuador.

The Global Business Executive Leadership Program is a specialized academic initiative designed by Georgetown University’s Latin America Leadership Program. It’s tailored for business executives in Latin America and the Caribbean, offering strategic insights and skills to navigate the global business arena.

Jorge A. Mestre engages exclusively in a commercial-litigation practice and is Board Certified in International Litigation and Arbitration by The Florida Bar. He has litigated domestic and international arbitration matters in both English and Spanish. He is a member of Georgetown’s Latin America Leadership Program Advisory Committee.
