NEW YORK — Michael A. Fernandez will speak in Spanish on the Court of Arbitration of Madrid’s panel, “Cuestiones De Actualidad En El Arbitraje: Tecnología Blockchain Y Criptomonedas” at Sede de la CAM (Calle Príncipe, 28 28012, Madrid) on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. CET.

The Court of Arbitration of Madrid has administered more than 3,000 arbitrations and offers an independent and confidential service that aims to resolve business disputes in domestic and international arbitration. The panel will feature an interactive roundtable discussion examining the current issues in arbitration regarding blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.

Michael’s practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, and regulatory compliance issues. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, he has experience representing foreign and domestic companies and individuals involved in arbitrations, litigations, and with investigations in the U.S., as well as parties to international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations conducted under the major international rules including UNCITRAL, ICSID, and ICDR.
