MIAMI— Amanda L. Fernandez has been elected treasurer of the Cuban American Bar Association. She has served on the board since 2017, advancing CABA’s mission of promoting equality of its members, diversity on the bench, and effective representation of minorities.

CABA is a non-profit voluntary bar association founded in 1974 by lawyers of Cuban descent. CABA’s members include judges, lawyers, and law students of all backgrounds interested in issues affecting the Cuban community, as well as broader legal and human rights issues impacting minority communities as a whole.

Fernandez is an experienced commercial litigator that focuses her practice on complex business matters, securities litigation, and cross-border disputes. She represents foreign and domestic clients across a multitude of industries.
