NEW YORK— Michael A. Fernández will moderate a New York City Bar Association panel on “The Bicentennial of the U.S. – Colombia Relationship: Continued Opportunities for Partnership and Growth,” which will be held live on Friday, January 28, at 12:30 p.m. EST.

The event will commemorate the bicentennial of diplomatic relations between Colombia and the United States. Ambassador Juan Carlos Pinzón Bueno will speak about the history of the countries’ binational relationship, their partnership, and the political challenges that both countries face. These remarks will be followed by a panel discussion featuring the ambassador and ProColombia USA focused on the boundless opportunities to invest and do business in Colombia.

Fernández’s practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, and regulatory compliance issues.
