Patricija Gegznaite focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Rivero Mestre, she was an Assistant Public Defender in the felony division of the Broward Public Defender’s Office for the 17th Judicial Circuit.

Patricija earned her Juris Doctor at the St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law. While there, she served as the Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the St. Thomas Law Review and was a competing member of the St. Thomas Trial Team. She received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Trial Advocacy Practice, Appellate Advocacy Practice, and Family Law.

During law school, Patricija served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Edwin A. Scales, III at the Third District Court of Appeal in Florida. She also worked as a law clerk for a personal injury protection firm.

Patricija attended Florida State University and earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminology. While there, she interned for the Federal Public Defender in the Northern District of Florida. Patricija is fluent in Lithuanian.
