Rivero Mestre LLP is pleased to announce that Kingsley Nwamah has been selected for the 2018 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s “LCLD” esteemed Pathfinders Program. Nwamah’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense.

The goal of the program is to provide “Pathfinders” with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks through relationship building skills, foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies applicable to both in-house and law firm practice.

Nwamah attended law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, he worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Jacqueline Hogan Scola, Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Nwamah earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida International University.

MIAMI—Kingsley Nwamah placed second in the 5th Annual Legal Eagle Closing Argument Competition on Saturday, June 11th. Nwamah a first-year lawyer, faced off against attorneys with up to seven years of experience.

The competition was hosted by Florida International University School of Law to raise money for Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. Attorneys from local firms and government entities competed. The competition consisted of several rounds of arguing for either the plaintiff or the defense. Facts and materials were released 48 hours before the competition and competitors learned which side they were taking on the morning of the event.

LSGMI annually provides services benefitting more than 30,0000 vulnerable clients, including women, children, seniors, veterans returning from combat, domestic violence victims, people with disabilities, and individuals undergoing foreclosures or other loss of housing.
