WASHINGTON — Washington Hispanic featured the Hispanic National Bar Foundation’s 20th Annual Awards Dinner. Jorge A. Mestre, an HNBF board member, is shown presenting the Academic Leadership Award to Professor Luz Herrera, Assistant Dean for Clinical Education, Experiential Learning and Public Service at UCLA Law.

Each year at the awards dinner, the HNBF recognizes the outstanding achievements and contributions of Latinos in the legal profession. The HNBF seeks leaders whose contributions exemplify the values of the foundation including the advancement of knowledge, diversity, equality, empowerment, and access for Hispanics.
