MIAMI – Bryan L. Paschal, of Rivero Mestre, was elected Group I Director of the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. Bar Association for the 2012-2013 year.

The Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. Bar Association began as the Black Lawyers Association in 1977, when a group of lawyers sought to remove the barriers to full inclusion into the legal community in Miami-Dade County. Through the years the association has provided scholarships to law and undergraduate students, implemented mentoring programs in primary elementary and junior high schools, and have had a profound impact on the legal, civic, and political landscape of Miami-Dade County.
